Bleach Vol. 64

Yachiru continues fighting Guenael Lee, overcoming his ability to disappear from perception and memory through instinct alone. She releases her Shikai, Sanpo Kenjū, but Guenael is abruptly erased by Gremmy Thoumeaux, the true Sternritter “V.” Gremmy reveals that Guenael existed only because he imagined him and incapacitates Yachiru by imagining her bones as brittle.

Zaraki arrives and challenges Gremmy, whose Schrift, The Visionary, allows anything he imagines to become reality. Gremmy attacks with firearms, stone structures, water, lava, and a vacuum resembling outer space, yet Zaraki repeatedly survives. After imagining a meteor capable of destroying Seireitei, Gremmy watches Zaraki release Nozarashi and cut it apart with a single strike.

Unable to overcome Zaraki through external attacks, Gremmy creates another version of himself to multiply his imaginative power. He ultimately tries to reproduce Zaraki’s physical strength within his own body, but the imagined power exceeds what that body can withstand, causing his defeat. Zaraki’s victory leaves him severely injured, and Candice Catnipp, Meninas McAllon, Liltotto Lamperd, and Giselle Gewelle immediately surround him.
