Click Register in the top navigation. Pick a unique username (used for your profile URL and @-mentions), add a display name, email, and password — or sign up in one click with Google or Discord. Email sign-ups get a verification link in their inbox; you can use the site right away while you confirm it.

Yes — both are supported on the login and register pages. Accounts created through Google or Discord don't have a site password, so always sign in with the same provider you signed up with. Email sign-ups use their email and password as usual.

If you registered with email and password, yes — we send you a verification link. You can browse and post immediately; unverified accounts see a banner at the top of the site until they confirm. If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder or hit Resend from the banner.

Go to the login page and click Forgot Password. Enter your email and we'll send you a reset link. Follow the instructions to set a new password. Note: if you signed up with Google or Discord, you don't have a site password — sign in with the same provider instead.

After logging in, open your Profile page and click Settings. You can update your display name, username, and bio (up to 500 characters), choose a new avatar from the built-in library, and change your password. Custom avatar uploads aren't available yet.

Yes — at the bottom of Profile → Settings. You'll type a short confirmation phrase (and your password, if your account has one) to confirm. Deletion is permanent: your posts, comments, library, and all other account data are removed and cannot be recovered.

Use the search bar in the top navigation — it shows live results across series and characters as you type. Press Enter to see the full results on the List page, or browse the List page directly with filters and sorting.

Use the filter sidebar on the List page. You can combine a text search with status (Releasing, Finished, On Hiatus, Cancelled, Not Yet Released), format (Manga, Light Novel, One Shot, Anime, Movie, OVA, ONA, Special), genre, and a year range — all at the same time. Sort by popularity, rating, date added, title, or chapter count. Deep links like /list?genre=Action are supported and the matching filter opens automatically.

Quite a lot: Characters with their own detail pages, Volumes (every manga volume with covers and release info), People (authors, artists, and staff), Studios, and a Calendar showing this week's anime airing schedule (Monday-Sunday, in your local timezone). All are reachable from the navigation.

Series, character, and staff metadata is imported from AniList (anilist.co) under its public API terms, then reviewed and curated by our team. Volume details — covers, ISBNs, release dates, chapter mappings, and buy links — are added and maintained by us. New catalogue additions show up in the Catalogue tab on the News page.

Use the Contact form (linked in the footer and at the bottom of this page) and tell us the series or page and what's off — or email support@animangainfinity.com. We review every message and fix catalogue errors as they're reported.

Try refreshing the page or temporarily disabling browser extensions (especially ad blockers — they sometimes block image CDNs too). If the problem persists across browsers, please report it via the Contact form.

Not yet. The website is fully responsive and works well on phones and tablets. A dedicated app may come in the future.

AnimangaInfinity works best on up-to-date versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend keeping your browser current for the best experience.

Yes — AnimangaInfinity is completely free. Browsing the catalogue, tracking your library, posting, and commenting all cost nothing. The site is supported by advertising and by Amazon affiliate links on volume buy pages (as an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases — prices are unaffected).

Click the bookmark button on any series card — on the home page, the List page, or anywhere cards appear — or use the save button on the series page itself. Saved series appear in the Library on your profile. You need to be logged in; the button links to the login page otherwise.

On any series page, pick a status: Reading, Completed, Plan to Read, On Hold, or Dropped — and optionally rate the series 1-10. A series' individual entries (the manga, an anime season) can also be tracked and rated separately on their own pages. Everything you track is organised by status in the Library on your profile, where you can update statuses inline.

Volumes are the physical or digital books a manga series is published in. Each volume page shows cover art, release date, ISBN, page count, the chapters it contains, and a Where to Buy table with retailer links. Browse all volumes at /volumes or find them grouped on each series page.

Yes. On any volume page you can mark it Owned, Wishlist, Pre-ordered, or Missing, rate it 1-10, and keep short notes. It's an easy way to manage your physical collection and see which volumes you still need.

Yes. Head to the Feed and click Create Post (or go to /create directly). You can post text discussions, news links, images, or videos, and optionally tie a post to a specific series so it shows on that series' community feed.

Discussion — text with Markdown formatting (bold, italic, links, quotes, lists, code blocks, and ||spoiler|| text). News — an article with a source link. Image — share artwork or a screenshot with a caption. Video — embed a YouTube video (watch links, Shorts, and embed URLs are accepted; playlist-only links are not). Every post can additionally be flagged as Spoiler (hides it behind a click-to-reveal blur) or NSFW.

Yes. On your own post, open the ⋯ menu and choose Edit Post or Delete Post. Edited posts show an "(edited)" indicator next to the timestamp. The post type can't be changed after publishing, but all content fields are editable.

You can comment on any post in the Feed. Replies are threaded under the parent comment, and you can reply to replies too. Comments can be liked, edited or deleted by their author, and reported with the flag icon if they break the rules.

Your inbox at /notifications collects comments on your posts, replies to your comments, @-mentions, and moderation notices. Likes are milestone-based rather than one-per-like: you get a single notification when a post or comment reaches 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 likes and so on — no notification spam. Opening the page marks what you see as read.

English is the official language of AnimangaInfinity. Posts and comments in other languages may be removed or moderated to keep discussions accessible to the whole community.

Yes — be respectful, no hate speech or harassment, no explicit adult content, no spam or self-promotion, don't link to pirated chapter scans or unofficial streaming sources, and use the Spoiler flag when discussing plot reveals. The full guidelines are shown next to the post composer. Violations may result in content removal or account suspension.

Click the flag icon on any post or comment and pick a reason (spam, harassment, unmarked spoiler, misinformation, other) — you can add a short note too. Our admin team reviews every report. For account-level or site-level issues, use the Contact form or email support@animangainfinity.com.

You can't follow users yet — user profiles and their public posts are viewable, but a follow feed is on the roadmap. You can subscribe to series: on a series' community feed page (under Feed), hit Subscribe and posts about that series are pulled into your personalized feed.

On your first visit from an EU / UK / Swiss region, a consent banner asks whether you accept cookies for analytics and advertising; analytics runs in consent mode and respects your choice. The choice is remembered on your device — clear the site's data in your browser to choose again. Outside those regions no banner is shown. Advertising and affiliate links are what keep AnimangaInfinity free. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
