Bleach Vol. 33

The Quinta Espada Nnoitra Gilga attacks the exhausted Ichigo immediately after his victory over Grimmjow. Ichigo struggles to defend Orihime and Nel, while Nnoitra’s Fracción, Tesla Lindocruz, restrains Orihime. Nnoitra recognizes Nel and reveals that she is actually Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck, the former Third Espada. When Ichigo is placed in mortal danger, Nel’s emotions restore her adult body and former power.

Nelliel overwhelms Nnoitra and reveals that their rivalry began when they served together as Espada. Disgusted by his violence toward weaker opponents, she repeatedly defeated him but refused to kill him. Nnoitra eventually conspired with Szayelaporro Granz to damage her mask and cast her, Pesche Guatiche, and Dondochakka Birstanne out of Las Noches. In the present, Nelliel releases Gamuza to continue their battle.

Elsewhere, Szayelaporro releases Fornicarás against Uryū Ishida and Renji Abarai. He creates replicas of both fighters and later uses voodoo-like dolls to damage their internal organs. Pesche and Dondochakka intervene, revealing themselves as Nelliel’s former Fracción and combining their Cero attacks against the Espada.
