Ichigo Kurosaki

Ichigo is born and raised in Karakura Town as the eldest child of Isshin and Masaki Kurosaki. From an early age, he possesses the ability to perceive spirits clearly. This sensitivity distinguishes him from most humans but does not initially give him a formal understanding of the afterlife. He treats ghosts much as he treats living people: as individuals whose dignity should be respected and whose suffering should not be ignored.
