Vivi's Adventure

As the battle for Alubarna reaches its climax, Vivi and the Straw Hats race to locate the bomb intended to annihilate the royal capital. The weapon is discovered inside the city's clock tower, where Mr. 7 and Miss Father's Day prepare to fire it over the battlefield. Usopp, Tony Tony Chopper, Roronoa Zoro, Sanji, and Nami cooperate to carry Vivi to the tower, but the bomb's timer continues even after its guards are defeated. Pell carries the weapon away from the city before it detonates.

Beneath the palace, Luffy continues his final confrontation with Crocodile. By using his own blood to strike Crocodile's sand-based body, Luffy overcomes the Warlord's powers and defeats him with a decisive upward attack that sends Crocodile through the bedrock above the royal tombs. The defeat of the conspiracy's leader coincides with the return of rain to Arabasta, bringing the fighting between the royal army and the rebel forces to an end.

The Marines arrest Crocodile and the remaining members of Baroque Works, while the Straw Hats recover in the royal palace. Although King Cobra and the people of Arabasta regard them as the kingdom's saviors, their status as pirates prevents their role from being publicly acknowledged. The crew secretly departs before the Marines can capture them, aided by Bentham, who disguises himself and his followers as the Straw Hats to draw away Captain Hina's forces.

Vivi ultimately chooses to remain in Arabasta and fulfill her responsibilities as princess. During her public address, she indirectly says farewell to the Straw Hats as their ship passes the coast. Unable to acknowledge her openly without exposing their friendship to the Marines, the crew silently raises the marks on their left arms—the symbol they had used to identify one another during the campaign against Baroque Works—and continues its voyage without her.
