The appearance of the Gorosei!!!

The Five Elders pursue the Straw Hat Pirates and their allies across Egghead while displaying overwhelming strength and extraordinary regeneration. Dorry and Brogy help Luffy resist them as the crew divides between the Giant Warrior Pirates’ ship and the Thousand Sunny. Stussy remains behind to lower the Frontier Dome, while Jewelry Bonney gains control of the Pacifistas and joins the retreat.

Across the world, Dr. Vegapunk’s prerecorded broadcast explains that the planet is destined to sink beneath the sea. He describes an ancient war involving Joy Boy, the future World Government, and weapons powerful enough to alter the world’s geography. Vegapunk also admits that the Mother Flame he created was stolen and used to power the weapon that destroyed Lulusia.

The Five Elders identify the ancient robot as the source of the transmission and attempt to silence it. Bonney assumes a Nika-like form with Luffy’s encouragement, while the robot reveals its name as Emet and recognizes Luffy as Joy Boy. Atlas sacrifices herself to secure the Thousand Sunny’s departure, and Vegapunk concludes by declaring that the fate of the world will be decided by whoever claims the One Piece.
