Kuma and Bonney

Bartholomew Kuma’s memories reveal the final sacrifices he made before losing his free will. After secretly protecting the Straw Hat Pirates and their ship, Kuma entrusts his remaining wishes to Vegapunk. Bonney escapes government custody to search for him, unaware that her father’s letters were destroyed before reaching her. Back on Egghead, Kuma arrives in time to shield Bonney from Saint Jaygarcia Saturn and strikes the Elder responsible for their suffering.

Saturn initiates a Buster Call, but Vegapunk’s secret programming gives Bonney command over the Pacifistas modeled after her father. Luffy regains his strength and resumes fighting in his Gear Five form, allowing Bonney to recognize him as the embodiment of Nika. The Giant Warrior Pirates arrive under Dorry and Brogy, creating a possible route of escape.

As the evacuation begins, Vegapunk is mortally wounded by Saturn and Kizaru. A prerecorded worldwide transmission activates, threatening to expose forbidden knowledge about the world. Saturn summons the other Five Elders to Egghead, where they reveal monstrous forms and surround Luffy as the Straw Hats continue their attempt to flee.
