The Beginning of the Holy War

The Straw Hat Pirates explore Elbaph’s Sun World after Monkey D. Luffy reunites with the rest of his crew. Robin visits the Owl Library with Saul and learns how Elbaph preserved the books recovered from Ohara. During a celebratory feast, the giants explain aspects of their culture and introduce the Harley, a sacred text describing three ages of destruction and the recurring figure of the Sun God.

In the Underworld, Saint Figarland Shamrock and Gunko attempt to recruit Loki into the Knights of God. When Loki refuses, Shamrock wounds him before returning to Mary Geoise, leaving Gunko to begin the World Government’s operation against Elbaph. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, and Nami meanwhile search Aurust Castle for a key capable of releasing Loki.

The conflict escalates when additional Knights of God arrive and target Elbaph’s children. Using supernatural abilities, they place the children under control and create monstrous creatures from their fears. The giants initially struggle to understand the attack, while the Straw Hats and their allies prepare to defend the island.
