Synopsis
Continuing directly from the 2016 season, Guts resolves to take Casca to the elven homeland of Elfhelm, where he hopes her damaged mind can be healed. His growing traveling party encounters villages besieged by trolls, disturbances between the physical and astral worlds, and the young witch Schierke, whose knowledge becomes indispensable.
The season adapts the opening portion of the Falcon of the Millennium Empire arc. Alongside Guts’s journey, Griffith gathers a new Band of the Hawk and confronts the expanding Kushan Empire. The story broadens the series’ dark medieval setting into high fantasy, introducing magical disciplines, astral creatures, and the dangerous Berserker Armor.
