Synopsis
As the Band of the Hawk’s victories bring it closer to becoming Midland’s foremost military force, Guts and Casca are separated from their comrades during a dangerous encounter with Tudor soldiers. Their struggle for survival deepens their understanding of one another and reveals more of Casca’s history with Griffith.
The campaign culminates in an assault on the supposedly impregnable Fortress of Doldrey, defended by Tudor’s most formidable troops. The second film covers the military climax of the Golden Age arc and the Band of the Hawk’s triumphant ascent, while Guts begins to consider whether pursuing Griffith’s dream has prevented him from discovering one of his own.
