Synopsis
A year after leaving the Band of the Hawk, Guts learns that the once-celebrated mercenary company has become a band of fugitives. He reunites with Casca and the surviving Hawks, who are determined to rescue the imprisoned Griffith from Midland’s capital.
The rescue reveals how dramatically Griffith and the kingdom have changed during Guts’s absence. As the group attempts to escape, supernatural forces foreshadowed throughout the trilogy converge around Griffith’s crimson Behelit. The film concludes the Golden Age arc and serves as the trilogy’s darkest installment, connecting its medieval war narrative to the demonic conflict that defines the wider story.
