100,000 vs. 10

After hearing Fish-Man Island's history, Nami forgives Jinbe for releasing Arlong into the East Blue. Hody Jones then broadcasts his planned coup across the island, announcing the execution of King Neptune and his intention to replace Queen Otohime's policy of reconciliation with violent isolation. Although Luffy wants to attack immediately, Jinbe convinces him that the Straw Hats must appear as liberators rather than human invaders.

At Conchcorde Plaza, Hody reveals that he assassinated Otohime and blamed a human for her death. His forces overwhelm the Neptune Army and capture the three royal princes, but the Straw Hats infiltrate the plaza as part of Jinbe's plan. Shirahoshi admits that she had long known the truth about her mother's killer but remained silent to honor Otohime's final wish.

The Straw Hat Pirates confront the New Fish-Man Pirates before an army of 100,000 enemies. Luffy incapacitates half of them with Conqueror's Haki, and the crew demonstrates the abilities developed during its two-year separation. As the officers divide into individual battles, Vander Decken IX uses his power to send the enormous ark Noah toward Shirahoshi, threatening all of Fish-Man Island.
