Roger and Rayleigh

After Monkey D. Luffy strikes Saint Charloss, the Sabaody Archipelago erupts into panic as the Marines dispatch Admiral Borsalino, better known as Kizaru, to eliminate the pirate threat. While the Eleven Supernovas struggle against increasingly powerful Marine forces, the Straw Hats escape the auction house with the help of Silvers Rayleigh, who effortlessly removes Camie's explosive slave collar and reveals himself as the former first mate of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger.

At Rayleigh's home, the Straw Hats learn about Roger's final voyage and the legendary crew that reached the end of the Grand Line. Although Rayleigh possesses knowledge of the world's greatest mysteries, the crew declines to hear the truth, choosing instead to continue their own adventure. Meanwhile, Kizaru demonstrates the overwhelming power of a Marine Admiral as he effortlessly defeats several Supernovas and is joined by newly deployed Pacifista combat weapons.

The volume concludes with the Straw Hats attempting to escape Sabaody while confronting enemies unlike any they have previously faced. Even working together, the crew struggles against the Pacifistas' durability, while Kizaru's arrival leaves their chances of escape increasingly uncertain.
