Robin Nico defeats Yama while protecting Shandora's ruins, then discovers that the legendary city of gold was cast into the sky with Upper Yard. Elsewhere, Tony Tony Chopper is defeated by Ohm, whose Ordeal of Iron traps several surviving combatants inside a cage of razor-sharp cloud. Roronoa Zoro eventually overcomes Ohm, while Nami, Gan Fall, and Aisa become trapped inside the giant snake alongside Monkey D. Luffy.

Robin determines that Shandora protected a Poneglyph and that its great golden bell may still exist somewhere above the ruins. Eneru reveals that he has already removed the city's gold to construct the Ark Maxim and intends to destroy Skypiea before departing for Fairy Vearth. Conis learns of his plan and races to warn Angel Island as Eneru demolishes the upper ruins and gathers the surviving contestants at Shandora.

Eneru's survival game concludes with Zoro, Robin, Gan Fall, Wiper, and Nami facing him together. He overwhelms the group with his lightning powers, but Wyper uses Seastone and a Reject Dial to stop his heart. Eneru restores his heartbeat with electricity, defeats the remaining fighters, and prepares to enact the final stage of his plan.
