Brogy

Brogy is jovial, hospitable, and fiercely proud of his identity as an Elbaf warrior. He welcomes Nami and Usopp to his camp, shares his food, and speaks openly about the duel that has defined his century on Little Garden.

His rivalry with Dorry is founded on friendship and mutual respect. Brogy does not resent his opponent, and each battle ends without malice when both remain standing. He is devastated when he believes he has finally killed Dorry because the victory ends a bond that had given structure to both their lives.

Brogy’s grief becomes rage when he learns that outsiders sabotaged the contest. Interference is intolerable not merely because it harms Dorry, but because it attempts to steal the giants’ right to resolve their dispute according to their own customs.

Brogy possesses tremendous giant strength, endurance, and battle experience. He fights Dorry to a draw thousands of times across a century and remains capable of combat after sustaining serious injuries from Baroque Works.

He carries a gigantic axe and a round shield. His technique relies on powerful sweeping strikes, direct clashes, and the endurance to continue after impacts that would kill smaller combatants.

Alongside Dorry, Brogy performs Hakoku Sovereignty, directing a massive shock wave through his weapon. The combined attack destroys the Island Eater and demonstrates why the Giant Warrior Pirates became legendary. Brogy later displays Armament Haki and battles exceptionally powerful World Government opponents during the escape from Egghead.

Brogy and Dorry jointly led the Giant Warrior Pirates before an argument over their respective catches began the duel on Little Garden. Neither giant remembers the original details clearly after a century, but both continue because Elbaf’s warrior code demands a decisive judgment.

Brogy befriends Usopp and Nami while the Straw Hats wait for their Log Pose to record the island. During the next duel, an explosion planted in Dorry’s drink leaves Dorry unable to fight at full strength. Brogy strikes him down, unaware that Galdino has manipulated the outcome.

Baroque Works then traps Brogy and attempts to turn him into a wax figure along with the captured Straw Hats. Once freed, he reunites with Dorry and helps clear the crew’s path from the island. The two later return to active command, fight alongside Shanks, intervene at Egghead to save Luffy’s crew, and sail back to Elbaf. Their updated bounties reach 1.8 billion berries each.

Dorry is Brogy’s co-captain, best friend, and enduring rival. Brogy mourns when he believes he has killed Dorry and is enraged to learn that their duel was sabotaged.

Usopp forms a strong admiration for Brogy and Dorry. Brogy’s pride and courage help define Usopp’s ambition to become a brave warrior of the sea and eventually visit Elbaf.

Nami is Brogy’s guest on Little Garden and listens to the history of the giants’ duel. Monkey D. Luffy becomes an ally through his friendship with Dorry and his determination to punish the agents who interfered.

Galdino exploits Brogy’s grief and tries to capture him for his bounty. Gem, Mikita, and Marianne assist Galdino’s operation.

Shanks is a later ally and friend of Brogy and Dorry. Oimo and Kashii remain loyal to both captains throughout their century-long absence from the crew.
