Following the battle at Chowlin Temple, the struggle between the IGO and Gourmet Corp. moves closer to open war. Before either organization can strike, four gigantic beasts invade the Human World, leaving Toriko and the other Four Kings as humanity’s principal defense.
Toriko tests his improved Food Honor against Chiyo, while Chin Chinchin attempts to resolve their shared past. Although the temple survives, Otake leaves with Gourmet Corp., and the approaching conflict prompts Ichiryu to assemble the extraordinary personnel of the IGO’s secret 0th Biotope.
A Gourmet Solar Eclipse then awakens the Four Beasts, enormous creatures sent into the Human World to consume its population. Humanity retreats toward the center of the continent as Coco, Sunny, Zebra and Toriko intercept one beast each. Their opponents prove vastly stronger than ordinary Human World creatures, forcing all four Kings to reveal the results of their recent growth.
