The search for Acacia's Main Dish leads Toriko and his allies into the mysterious Back World, where ancient civilizations, hidden technologies and the true objectives of the Blue Nitro begin to emerge.
Toriko's party enters the Back World in pursuit of further clues surrounding Acacia's Full Course. They encounter remnants of civilizations predating the current Gourmet Age and discover that NEO has been manipulating events for centuries through the Blue Nitro.
As investigations continue, the relationship between Acacia, Froese and the Nitro becomes clearer. Toriko's allies split into several groups to prevent NEO from obtaining critical resources first, while powerful Gourmet World creatures complicate the expedition.
