Gourmet Corp. launches a coordinated assault on Cooking Stadium while the public gathers to watch the world’s finest chefs compete. With Komatsu targeted for capture, the long-standing conflict between the IGO and Gourmet Corp. erupts into open warfare, drawing the Four Heavenly Kings and the festival’s chefs into battle.
The Cooking Festival is interrupted when Starjun enters the Dark Cooking Tent to seize Komatsu. Gourmet Corp. forces descend upon Cooking Island, deploying Scum Beasts, genetically modified fighters and Nitro to capture the assembled chefs. Toriko, Coco, Sunny and Zebra join the IGO’s defenders as separate battles spread across the stadium.
The invasion divides the combatants into a series of major confrontations. Toriko faces Starjun, Sunny challenges Tommyrod, and the chefs resist attempts to imprison them within Cage Beasts. Zebra’s arrival destroys much of Gourmet Corp.’s supporting force, but the enemy’s senior fighters continue pressing toward Komatsu.
