Toriko and Komatsu travel to the celebrated Chowlin Temple to master Food Honor and capture the elusive Bubble Fruit. Their demanding training becomes preparation for a far greater trial when Gourmet Corp. forces attack the temple.
Chin Chinchin, master of Chowlin Temple, places Toriko and Komatsu through exercises designed to instill complete gratitude toward food. Their improved Food Honor allows them to traverse Bubble Way, withstand its crushing pressure and obtain the Bubble Fruit. Toriko also learns Food Immersion, enabling his body to preserve enormous reserves of nutritional energy.
The training is interrupted when Chiyo, accompanied by Otake, attacks Chowlin Temple on behalf of Gourmet Corp. Toriko confronts Chiyo while Chin takes responsibility for facing his former partner, turning the temple’s defense into a clash between opposing interpretations of culinary discipline.
