Inside this volume
Momo and Okarun send Turbo Granny into the police station to identify who collected Okarun’s golden ball, but the station’s computer security defeats her attempted infiltration. With Rokuro Serpo’s technological assistance, they trace the missing object to delinquent leader Unji Zuma—and to a cursed diorama capable of pulling anyone who touches it into another world.
After Turbo Granny fails to extract police records, Rokuro Serpo helps Momo and Okarun identify Unji Zuma as the person who claimed the golden ball. Their investigation leads through Renjaku High School and a community of delinquents who regard Zuma as their protector.
At the gang’s hideout, they find a cursed wicker trunk containing the diorama world Danmara. The gang explains that Zuma entered it to rescue another captive and has not returned. When they attempt to send a previous victim back inside, Momo accidentally touches the diorama and is transported into its game-like landscape. Her psychic abilities fail there, but Zuma rescues her from an armored guardian called Carmine.
