A gravely injured Okarun experiences separation from his body and travels through telephone wires after answering Momo’s phone. Turbo Granny teaches him how to return—a technique that may also let him rejoin his friends before the imminent alien invasion—while Momo and the others undertake their own preparations for the decisive battle.
While unconscious from the Kur attack, Ken Takakura leaves his body and is pulled through a telephone connection to Hokkaido, where Seiko and Turbo Granny are confronting a local yokai. Turbo Granny teaches him to travel as electrical data and return to his physical form, giving him a possible route back into battle.
Elsewhere, Momo’s group trains for the invasion. Jiji works to project spiritual energy, Aira refines Acrobatic Silky’s power, and Momo studies the alien technology available to them. When the predicted day arrives, the group returns to the Ayase residence and discovers that the Kur have already opened their assault, forcing the still-incomplete team into immediate combat.
