To obtain Mellow Cola from the enormous Gourmet Pyramid, Toriko seeks the aid of Zebra, the most destructive of the Four Heavenly Kings. First, however, he must enter Honey Prison and persuade its notorious inmate to cooperate under strict conditions imposed by the IGO.

Toriko travels to Honey Prison to recruit Zebra for his next training assignment. Zebra’s destructive appetite and history of driving species toward extinction have made him both feared and tightly controlled, but Toriko persuades the IGO to authorize his temporary release. Zebra accepts the expedition after demanding that Komatsu accompany them and promising to claim the chef as his partner if Toriko fails to protect him.
The trio crosses the Sand Garden toward the Gourmet Pyramid, surviving violent wildlife and a shifting desert labyrinth. Zebra’s sound-based abilities guide them through the hostile landscape, but the group becomes separated inside the pyramid. Komatsu descends alone into its ancient depths while Toriko and Zebra confront the structure’s traps and mysteries.
