Love

Love is authoritative, confident, eccentric, and accustomed to complete control over both prisoners and the dangerous beasts guarding Honey Prison. Her small size does nothing to diminish the fear she commands inside the facility.

Around Zebra, that confidence turns into infatuation. Love fantasizes about marrying him and repeatedly attempts to use her pheromones on him even though he does not respond. His immunity frustrates and fascinates her precisely because almost everyone else is susceptible.

Her behavior can make the administrative process surrounding Zebra's release absurdly personal. Oban recognizes that the warden's feelings are one of the practical obstacles facing the people trying to secure the Heavenly King's freedom.

Love is nevertheless a serious IGO operative. Membership in the 0th Biotope establishes that she is more than an eccentric prison administrator; she is capable of functioning within Gourmet World and is trusted with missions involving Acacia's Full Course.

Love's defining ability is pheromone control. She can alter the chemical signals emitted by her body to influence humans and beasts around her.

Sex Pheromones cause male targets to experience intense attraction and perceive Love as a much taller, voluptuous woman. The effect is powerful enough to influence Toriko, demonstrating that ordinary physical strength does not provide immunity.

Tranquilizer Pheromones calm and subjugate dangerous animals. Love uses this ability to control Honey Prison's Execution Beasts, high-Capture-Level creatures responsible for guarding and punishing more than one hundred million serious gourmet criminals.

Zebra is a notable exception. Love's pheromones do not affect him, a fact she finds romantically compelling rather than merely inconvenient.

She possesses substantial physical strength despite her size, including the ability to handle enormous doors with ease. Her 0th Biotope membership further indicates that she can survive Gourmet World's environments, although the manga gives little extended direct combat material.

Love also possesses wings that allow her to fly during later operations.

Love becomes important when the IGO decides that Zebra must be released from Honey Prison. Toriko and Komatsu arrive at the prison while preparations for the Mellow Cola expedition are underway.

She initially resists releasing Zebra, in part because of her personal feelings toward him. His earlier sentence and the extraordinary danger he represents also make the decision more complicated than an ordinary parole request.

The IGO establishes conditions under which Zebra can repay his debt to society, including capturing dangerous gourmet criminals and discovering new ingredients. Love ultimately allows the release to proceed.

Her importance expands when she is revealed as a member of Biotope 0. Alongside specialists such as Yosaku, Melk I, and other elite personnel, she is assigned work connected to Gourmet World and Acacia's Full Course.

During the later global conflict, Love remains part of the network of exceptional specialists supporting the IGO's preparations outside the central battles fought by the Four Heavenly Kings.

Zebra is Love's most famous prisoner and the object of her intense romantic interest. His immunity to her pheromones makes him uniquely fascinating to her.

Oban is Love's assistant warden and handles much of Honey Prison's practical administration beneath her.

Toriko and Komatsu meet Love when they arrive at Honey Prison to facilitate Zebra's release.

Ichiryuu is the IGO president under whose authority Love serves as both warden and member of the 0th Biotope.

Yosaku accompanies Ichiryuu during efforts connected to Zebra's release and later works alongside Love within the broader 0th Biotope structure.
