The judges deliver their verdict, bringing the selection contest and her rivalry with Hikaru Koragi to a decisive point. Kaisei later challenges Akane’s understanding of her progress, prompting her and the other Shiguma apprentices to consider their next objectives.

During the Shikisai Festival, Akane searches for a model who can guide her development. She encounters acclaimed ookanban Chocho Konjakutei, whose seemingly effortless performance and “sunshine” artistry suggest a new direction—and a potential path to futatsume promotion.
