Ine Makigami

Ine is confident, provocative and considerably less formal than her authority within Tool Toul To might suggest. Her revealing clothing and teasing behavior contrast with the precision and responsibility demanded by her work.

She is nevertheless serious about the principles governing tuners. After the original Sleeping Forest fractures, Ine refuses to choose between former friends and makes neutrality a central rule of Tool Toul To.

Her attitude toward younger tuners is demanding but perceptive. Ine recognizes talent quickly and is prepared to relinquish her own position when she believes a successor has surpassed the point where continued protection would help them.

Ine follows the Ring Road and is an elite A-T Link Tuner. As Pledge Queen, she possesses the Pledge Regalia and can access Infinite Scale.

Infinite Scale synchronizes the Pledge Queen with other tuners, effectively distributing her precision and expertise across the connected group. This allows exceptionally rapid construction, repair and adjustment of Air Trecks.

Ine is capable of both constructing and detuning A-T technology. Her medical knowledge complements her tuner abilities, since high-level tuning requires understanding the rider's body as thoroughly as the machinery attached to it.

Unlike most members of the original Sleeping Forest, Ine is not a Gravity Child. Her position among its Kings comes from technical skill rather than engineered physical ability.

Ine belongs to the original Sleeping Forest as Pledge Queen and Spitfire's tuner. When the team divides over its internal conflict, she refuses to side completely with either faction and later establishes neutrality as Tool Toul To's guiding principle.

In the present, her hospital becomes a safe location for injured riders. She treats Ikki after the Devil's Thirty-Three and deliberately gives him an opportunity to train away from immediate interference.

Ine also evaluates the next generation of tuners. She eventually passes the Pledge Queen title to Kururu, who becomes Ikki's Link Tuner and leads Tool Toul To away from strict neutrality in order to support Kogarasumaru against Genesis.

Kururu Sumeragi is Ine's successor as Pledge Queen. Ine trains her and recognizes that Kururu's abilities qualify her to lead Tool Toul To.

Spitfire is Ine's former Sleeping Forest teammate and the rider she tuned. Their relationship is unusually close, although a romantic relationship is implied rather than definitively confirmed.

Yayoi Nakayama impresses Ine with her natural tuner aptitude, leading Ine to recognize her potential before Yayoi fully assumes that role herself.

Itsuki Minami receives medical treatment and indirect assistance from Ine, who creates an opportunity for him to train safely.

Sora Takeuchi, Kilik, Rika Noyamano, Falko, Dontores and Black Burn are Ine's companions from the original Sleeping Forest.
