To reach it, they enlist a newly strengthened Sunny, whose training and partnership with Quinn will be tested by one of nature’s most overwhelming barriers.
Quick Facts
Toriko and Komatsu visit the Gourmet Shrine, where visitors honor Acacia and seek guidance for future culinary journeys. After testing a Surprise Apple and obtaining information through gourmet fortune-telling, they turn their attention to the Shining Gourami, a fish whose habitat lies beyond Death Falls in the Mors Mountains.
Sunny joins the expedition after completing intensive training, bringing Komatsu and Toriko toward the waterfall aboard Quinn. Death Falls proves almost impossible to penetrate because of its extraordinary volume and the debris carried within its current. Sunny evolves his Hair Lock technique while Toriko develops a synchronized Twin Spiked Punch, allowing the group to break through the torrent and approach the gourami’s hidden habitat.
