Despite the civilians and transfigured humans crowding Shibuya Station, Satoru Gojo holds his own against the special-grade cursed spirits. Their confrontation is only a diversion, however, as the conspirators possess a cursed object capable of sealing even the strongest sorcerer, while an unexpected ally contacts Yuji Itadori.

Gojo overwhelms Jogo, Hanami, Choso and waves of transfigured humans inside Shibuya Station, but their strategy forces him to unleash Unlimited Void for only a fraction of a second. After Gojo exorcises Hanami, Suguru Geto appears with the Prison Realm, stunning Gojo long enough for the cursed object to activate and seal him.
Mechamaru’s remaining communication devices alert Yuji and the other sorcerers to Gojo’s capture. As teams enter the barriers surrounding Shibuya, Yuji, Megumi and Takuma Ino confront curse users protecting the barrier anchors, including Jiro Awasaka and an elderly medium capable of summoning the bodies of the dead.
