Gojo and Sukuna repeatedly clash through Unlimited Void and Malevolent Shrine, modifying their barriers while healing the damage caused by excessive domain use. Gojo eventually lands Unlimited Void, but Mahoraga emerges after adapting to the technique and destroys his domain.

Sukuna later summons the composite shikigami Agito, forcing Gojo to fight three opponents simultaneously while Mahoraga adapts to Infinity. Gojo destroys Agito and unleashes an unrestricted Hollow Purple that devastates the battlefield. Although the attack appears to secure his victory, Sukuna applies Mahoraga’s adaptation to his own slashing technique and kills Gojo by cutting through the space he occupies.
