Synopsis
After confronting members of Akatsuki, Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno encounter the masked Tobi, who subjects them to an experimental illusion called the Limited Tsukuyomi. They awaken in an alternate Konohagakure where familiar people possess radically different personalities and the circumstances of Naruto’s and Sakura’s families have been reversed.
Naruto finds himself living with alternate versions of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, while the village is threatened by a masked rogue known as Menma Uzumaki. The sixth Shippuden film is a standalone alternate-reality story. It is notable as the first Naruto film for which manga creator Masashi Kishimoto devised the principal story and original character designs.
