Synopsis
After being accused of attacking the Fourth Raikage and attempting to assassinate other prominent shinobi, Naruto Uzumaki is imprisoned in Hōzuki Castle, a heavily fortified detention facility also known as the Blood Prison. Its warden, Mui, brands Naruto with the Fire Release: Heavenly Prison seal, which punishes attempts to mold chakra or escape.
Determined to prove his innocence, Naruto investigates the prison and encounters Ryūzetsu, a Hidden Grass operative pursuing her own mission. Their inquiries lead toward the Box of Ultimate Bliss, an ancient artifact connected to Mui’s past and the prison’s true purpose. The fifth Shippuden film is a standalone mystery with a darker prison setting, although Hōzuki Castle was later incorporated into other franchise stories.
