As a child, Chihiro Rokuhira trains under his celebrated swordsmith father, Kunishige Rokuhira, while hoping to follow in his craft. Their peaceful life is destroyed when sorcerers murder Kunishige and steal the enchanted blades he forged, sending Chihiro on a bloody mission to recover them.

Three years after Kunishige’s murder, Chihiro works alongside Togo Shiba to investigate the criminal sorcerers connected to the stolen enchanted blades. Wielding Enten, the secret seventh blade forged by his father, he dismantles underworld organizations while pursuing information about the Hishaku.

The investigation leads Chihiro to Hinao, an intermediary who introduces him to Char Kyonagi, a young girl being hunted by sorcerers. Protecting Char exposes Chihiro to an illicit weapons operation involving Datenseki and brings him into conflict with arms dealer Genichi Sojo, who possesses the stolen enchanted blade Cloud Gouger.
