Hakuri successfully transfers Tobimune to Samura, allowing the swordsman to annihilate the Hishaku’s forces at Senkutsuji. At the same time, Chihiro adapts techniques learned from Uruha and Samura to defeat Hiruhiko, severing both of the sorcerer’s arms and leaving him unable to manipulate his enchanted paper.

The apparent victory collapses when Samura reveals his secret agreement with the Hishaku. Believing that the enchanted-blade bearers must answer for concealed atrocities committed during the Seitei War, he turns against Uruha and the Kamunabi. Tobimune’s power spreads across the battlefield, while Hakuri’s injuries prevent him from safely using the Storehouse. Chihiro races toward Senkutsuji but is intercepted by Samura, whose skill and convictions force him to confront the darker history behind Kunishige’s celebrated weapons.
