Synopsis
After completing her magical training, enthusiastic young witch Nico Wakatsuki moves into the home of her childhood friend and longtime crush, Morihito Otogi. As a descendant of ogres, Morihito is appointed her familiar and charged with protecting her from a prophesied calamity, though Nico’s unpredictable spells frequently create more immediate problems.
The season adapts the opening portion of Kenta Shinohara’s manga, combining romantic comedy, supernatural action, school life, and self-referential parody. Nico and Morihito gradually form a household with other supernatural familiars while confronting hostile magic, navigating high-school friendships, and becoming involved in increasingly elaborate comic misadventures.
