Synopsis
After receiving an invitation promising relaxation and entertainment, Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates visit a lavish island resort governed by Baron Omatsuri. Their holiday depends on completing a series of increasingly dangerous competitions, and the crew’s usual camaraderie begins to fracture under the baron’s calculated pressure.
The sixth theatrical film tells an anime-original, standalone story featuring the seven-member crew assembled before the Water 7 storyline. It is particularly notable for its unsettling atmosphere, psychological conflict and striking visual direction, which distinguish it from the generally lighter adventures of the contemporary television series.
