Synopsis
While searching for the legendary treasure of Crown Island, the Going Merry is thrown into the air by powerful ocean geysers, separating Tony Tony Chopper from his crewmates. Chopper lands among a society of intelligent animals that mistakes his arrival for the fulfillment of a prophecy and proclaims him their new King of Beasts.
The situation draws Chopper and the Straw Hats into conflict with Count Battler, a poacher searching for magical horns said to grant extraordinary power. The movie is a non-canonical story built around the crew lineup after Chopper’s recruitment, although the absence of both Vivi and Robin prevents it from fitting cleanly within the main chronology. It is notable as the first theatrical film centered on Chopper and his uncertainty about courage, leadership, and belonging.
