Socalo is violent, intimidating and obsessed with combat. He enjoys killing his enemies and shows little of the sentimentality other Generals display toward their disciples. Rules and restraint have little appeal to him.

His harshness extends to defeated subordinates. Socalo values fighters who can survive the battlefield and has little patience for weakness, making service under him markedly different from life in Tiedoll's unit.

Despite his temperament, he remains an effective General who directs his violence toward the Black Order's enemies. His battlefield instincts and overwhelming aggression make him valuable in the war against Akuma.

Socalo's equipment-type Innocence is Madness, normally carried as two large spiked rings around his shoulders. When invoked, the weapons combine with blades and can be wielded as enormous double-edged swords.

He can rotate the bladed weapons at tremendous speed, creating attacks suited to cutting through groups of Akuma. His enormous physical strength allows him to handle equipment that would be unwieldy for ordinary fighters.

As a General, Socalo possesses a synchronization rate above the threshold required of standard Exorcists. His fighting style relies heavily on direct assault, physical power and the destructive capabilities of Madness.

Socalo is one of the five Generals scattered across the world searching for Innocence and potential Accommodators when the Noah begin targeting the Black Order's senior Exorcists.

Suman Dark, Chaker Rabon and Kazanna Reed belong to his unit and are searching for him when they encounter Tyki Mikk.

Socalo later returns to headquarters with the surviving Generals and participates in the defense of the Order during major attacks. Arystar Krory III is subsequently placed under his command.

Suman Dark, Chaker Rabon and Kazanna Reed are Exorcists assigned to Socalo's unit. His attitude toward his disciples is notably harsher than that of several other Generals.

Arystar Krory III later serves as one of Socalo's Exorcists.

Froi Tiedoll, Klaud Nine, Cross Marian and Kevin Yeegar are Socalo's fellow Generals within the Black Order.
