Klaud Nine

Klaud is composed, compassionate and protective of her subordinates. Unlike some of the Order's harsher commanders, she openly mourns Exorcists lost in the field and carries a visible sense of responsibility for people assigned to her.

Her background as an animal trainer is reflected in her relationship with Lau Shimin. Rather than treating the creature as a simple weapon, Klaud works with it as a partner.

Klaud's Innocence, Lau Shimin, is an unusual parasitic-type Anti-Akuma weapon that normally appears as a small monkey. When invoked, Lau Shimin transforms into a much larger creature capable of fighting Akuma directly.

In its combat form, Lau Shimin possesses immense physical strength and can generate powerful energy attacks from its fists. Klaud directs its actions while remaining able to coordinate with other Exorcists.

Her rank as General indicates synchronization with Innocence beyond the level expected of ordinary Exorcists, placing her among the Black Order's strongest active combatants.

Klaud is one of the Generals targeted when the Noah Family begins hunting senior Exorcists in search of the Heart of Innocence. Sol Galen, Tina Spark and Gwen Frere are among the Exorcists searching for her.

The three are killed during the Noah's campaign, and Klaud openly grieves for the subordinates who died while trying to reach her.

She later returns to headquarters and participates in the Order's defense during major attacks. Her status as a General also places her within the senior leadership responsible for training and deploying Exorcists.

Timothy Hearst later becomes one of the Exorcists assigned to Klaud's unit, placing another unusual parasitic-type Accommodator under her supervision.

Lau Shimin is Klaud's Innocence and constant companion, normally remaining beside her in a small monkey-like form before transforming for battle.

Sol Galen, Tina Spark and Gwen Frere are members of Klaud's unit. Their deaths while searching for her leave Klaud visibly grief-stricken.

Timothy Hearst later becomes Klaud's apprentice after joining the Black Order as an Exorcist.
