Suman Dark

Suman is family-oriented and deeply afraid of dying. He becomes an Exorcist primarily to obtain financial help for his sick daughter rather than from a desire to fight Akuma, and the possibility of never returning to her weighs heavily on him.

His fear makes him vulnerable under extreme pressure, but it does not erase his capacity for compassion. Allen Walker recognizes the human desperation beneath Suman's actions and refuses to treat him simply as a criminal who deserves punishment.

Suman possesses parasitic-type Innocence embedded as a gem-like structure near his thumb. When invoked, it can generate powerful attacks against Akuma.

As a parasitic Accommodator, his Innocence is integrated with his body rather than carried as external equipment. This gives him a direct biological connection to the weapon and also makes rejection by the Innocence especially dangerous.

After Suman violates the bond between Accommodator and Innocence, his weapon judges him and transforms him into a Fallen One. His Innocence grows uncontrollably through his body, producing a gigantic destructive form while consuming his mind and physical structure.

Suman joins the Black Order several years before Allen Walker, motivated by the money needed to treat his daughter. He later travels with fellow Exorcists Chaker Rabon and Kazanna Reed while searching for General Winters Socalo.

Tyki Mikk kills Chaker and Kazanna and offers to spare Suman if he reveals the locations of other Exorcists. Terrified of dying, Suman accepts. His betrayal causes his Innocence to reject him, transforming him into a Fallen One.

Allen discovers the enormous Fallen One and attempts to rescue the person trapped inside it rather than simply destroy the threat. Allen succeeds in removing the Innocence only after Suman's consciousness has already been consumed. Tyki's Teez, secretly implanted inside Suman as part of their bargain, then destroy his remaining body.

Jamie Dark is Suman's daughter and the reason he accepts service with the Black Order. Her medical expenses motivate his decision to become an Exorcist, while his desire to return to her drives his fear of death.

Allen Walker refuses to abandon Suman after finding him as a Fallen One. Allen desperately attempts to separate Suman from the Innocence consuming him, but cannot save his consciousness before the transformation reaches its end.

Tyki Mikk confronts Suman and his teammates during their mission. Suman gives Tyki information about other Exorcists in exchange for his life, but Tyki secretly leaves Teez inside him and ultimately kills him anyway.

Chaker Rabon and Kazanna Reed serve alongside Suman. Their deaths at Tyki's hands trigger the terror that leads Suman to betray the Order.

Winters Socalo is Suman's General and the commander whose unit he serves.
