Kazuo Ogura

Ogura receives limited characterization outside his role on Daimon's teams. He is presented primarily as a baseball player trusted to occupy a regular outfield position rather than through an independent personal storyline.

His continued association with Daimon after Seishuu indicates that his baseball path remains connected to the coach who originally selected him.

Ogura bats and throws right-handed and specializes as a left fielder. During his period on Seishuu's first-string team, he occupies the eighth position in the batting order.

He is defensively capable enough to record outs against the prefab team during their internal scrimmage, but the story does not assign him a distinctive offensive specialty comparable to the elite players around whom Daimon builds his squad.

Ogura belongs to the Seishuu varsity selected under Daimon's system, placing him opposite Maeno's prefab team during the conflict that divides the baseball club.

He plays left field during the internal contest between the two squads. After Daimon's side ultimately loses control of Seishuu's baseball program, Ogura follows the displaced coach and continues playing at Kurokoma Vocational High School.

His later appearances consequently preserve a link between Seishuu and the players who had belonged to its former first-string team.

Shuugo Daimon is the coach who selects Ogura for Seishuu's varsity and remains connected to his later baseball career.

Yuuhei Azuma, Tatsumasa Miki, Noboru Kamikawa, Kinji Takizawa, Minoru Ishiguro, Yuuji Kubo, Keisuke Kishibe and Tooru Onoda are among Ogura's teammates on Daimon's Seishuu varsity.
