Ichirou Satou

Satou is calm, analytical, articulate, and unusually difficult to read. He maintains courteous manners even when interrogating enemies or discussing severe casualties, creating an unsettling contrast between his pleasant demeanor and his methods.

He claims to detest violence and possesses little direct offensive power compared with frontline Keepers. Instead, Satou weaponizes information, psychology, preparation, and the contents of his own mind.

His pragmatic streak becomes increasingly apparent during major operations. Satou can accept extreme risks and casualties when he believes they serve Yamato Mori's strategic objectives, making him considerably harsher than his polite manner initially suggests.

Psycho Share allows Satou to transmit thoughts, concepts and detailed mental images directly into another person's mind. He can communicate information that would be cumbersome to explain verbally, including maps and complex visual scenarios.

With technological assistance, he can distribute information to many people simultaneously, although doing so causes significant mental fatigue.

His ability can also be weaponized. Psycho Share Glitch: Coerced Crash forces an overwhelming amount of disturbing mental information into a target through direct contact, potentially destroying the victim's psychological stability.

Satou first appears around Yamato Mori's investigations into recently awakened Choujin. His interrogation work helps the organization extract information without relying solely on physical violence.

He later becomes particularly important to Tokio's development. Rather than treating Tokio merely as an inexperienced Beast Choujin, Satou pushes him through demanding training designed to improve his survival instincts, Beastification and independent judgment.

Satou eventually takes command of major Yamato Mori operations and becomes one of the organization's principal strategic leaders as the conflict surrounding the Tower of Mourning intensifies.

His mentorship helps transform Tokio from a hesitant student into a highly capable field Keeper, although Satou's utilitarian methods also expose the colder side of Yamato Mori's leadership.

Hoshi Sandek is Satou's senior and mentor within Yamato Mori. Satou is regarded as one of Hoshi Sandek's foremost protégés.

Tokio Kurohara becomes Satou's student. Satou subjects Tokio to intensive training and field experience that fundamentally accelerates his development as a Keeper.

Tsukiko Mado is Yamato Mori's director and works with Satou as part of the organization's senior leadership.

Simon Kagomura, Maiko Momoma, Michael Es, and Michelangelo Deroginev Cembaletta San Sei serve within operations that Satou helps coordinate.

Nari Tsumiji is subjected to Satou's mental interrogation after being captured by Yamato Mori.
