Personality
Personality
Nari is confident, deceptive, pragmatic, and comfortable using her appearance to lower another person's guard. She approaches Tokio conversationally rather than immediately attacking him, allowing her to assess him before revealing her objective.
Once fighting begins, she is ruthless and willing to use lethal force. She has enough experience in the Choujin underworld to understand both the value of information and the dangers associated with Yamato Mori.
Nari is also highly self-assured about her abilities. Against inexperienced Choujin, that confidence is justified: Tokio and Ely initially struggle badly against her.
Abilities & Powers
Abilities & Powers
As the White Snake Choujin, Nari can perform Partial Beastification and Full Beastification. She can transform individual limbs into snakes, extend them to strike or restrain opponents, or transform her entire body into a massive white serpent.
Her snake physiology provides substantial speed, flexibility, strength, and venom. She can constrict opponents and exploit the enhanced senses associated with her beast form.
Nari can also understand snakes, paralleling the animal communication displayed by other Beast Choujin. Like other Choujin, she possesses Raise and can recover from otherwise lethal injuries.
Story Role
Story Role
Nari is hired to investigate Tokio after information spreads that a high-school student used one of the mysterious Choujin-producing injections. She meets Tokio and lures him into a situation where she can test his Beastification.
The confrontation escalates at a closed zoo. Ely intervenes to help Tokio, but the two inexperienced Choujin remain badly outmatched when Nari enters Full Beastification.
Simon and Maiko's involvement brings Yamato Mori directly into the conflict. The incident becomes an important early lesson for Tokio: possessing Choujin abilities does not mean he is prepared to face experienced opponents.
Nari's capture gives Yamato Mori access to someone connected to the network searching for Tokio and helps establish that his transformation has attracted attention from organized Choujin outside the institution.

Simon Kagomura responds to the confrontation as a Yamato Mori Keeper and proves capable of overcoming Nari's advantages.
Maiko Momoma accompanies Simon as part of Yamato Mori's response to the incident.
Batista Hoshi is connected to the effort to identify the person transformed by the Choujin drug. Nari's assignment ultimately serves that larger search.
