Michael is conscientious and prone to blaming himself when his abilities do not perform as well as he believes they should. His frustration centers particularly on his lack of dexterity compared with more specialized psychic Choujin.

He nevertheless remains a capable Keeper and accepts assignments that place him directly in dangerous environments. His powers favor coordination and control, encouraging him to operate as part of a team.

Michael's self-critical attitude does not prevent him from helping less experienced colleagues, and he becomes one of the Keepers working closely with Tokio during later operations.

Michael can manipulate objects telekinetically and create psychic barriers for defense. These abilities let him influence a battlefield without direct physical contact.

His telepathy allows him to transmit his thoughts to another person. Communication becomes easier when he knows the recipient well and has established a stronger mental connection. He can communicate across distances of at least roughly one hundred meters under demonstrated conditions.

Michael can also perceive particularly intense or repetitive thoughts. Unlike Satou's Psycho Share, however, his telepathy cannot transmit detailed images or complete mental scenarios.

Michael is introduced among Yamato Mori's broader Keeper force and participates in major organizational operations rather than Tokio's earliest training.

During Operation Old Market, he is assigned alongside Tokio and Michelangelo Deroginev Cembaletta San Sei. Their team investigates Minami City while Yamato Mori searches the district for threats and information.

The assignment brings Michael into contact with Palma Shishinegura and the strange Choujin population surrounding the market.

As Yamato Mori's conflicts grow larger, Michael's combination of communication, telekinesis and defensive barriers makes him valuable in coordinated battles where protecting and linking teammates matters as much as raw offensive strength.

Ichirou Satou possesses a more advanced form of mental communication than Michael. Michael cannot transmit detailed images in the same manner as Ichirou Satou's Psycho Share.

Michelangelo Deroginev Cembaletta San Sei is a fellow Yamato Mori Keeper and regular operational companion.

Tokio Kurohara works alongside Michael during Operation Old Market.

Palma Shishinegura encounters Michael through the Minami City operation and subsequently becomes connected to the Yamato Mori group.
