Bunjiro Narusawa

Narusawa is friendly and enthusiastic when meeting Kogoro Mouri, telling the detective that he admires him. He remains comfortable enough around Juri Maki to continue performing in the same theatrical company despite their failed marriage.

His feelings for Juri have not completely disappeared. Natsuki Sakai reveals that Narusawa has asked Juri to marry him again since their divorce, but she has rejected his attempts at reconciliation.

Despite becoming one of the people whose personal history provides a potential motive during the investigation, Narusawa cooperates with the others when the situation aboard the aircraft becomes dangerous.

Narusawa is a professional stage actor trusted with the role of Napoleon Bonaparte in Josephine. His work places him among the production's principal performers.

He has no established combat, investigative or supernatural abilities. During the emergency aboard Flight 865, he responds practically and assists the other passengers when the incapacitated pilots need to be moved and treated.

Narusawa is introduced backstage before the final performance of Josephine, where Kaitou Kid's threat against Juri's sapphire has brought police and Conan Edogawa to the theatre.

He later travels with the company on Flight 865. His former marriage to Juri becomes important once the people around the actress are examined as possible suspects.

After Juri is poisoned, Natsuki identifies Narusawa's lingering feelings as a potential motive, explaining that he sought reconciliation after their divorce and was rejected. This makes him one of several plausible suspects.

Narusawa is not responsible for the poisoning. Once Natsuki is exposed, he helps during the separate aviation emergency caused when both pilots become incapacitated.
