Anita is confident, direct and emotionally perceptive. Her crew follows her with deep loyalty, reflecting leadership built on genuine personal bonds rather than intimidation.

She maintains composure even in dangerous situations and dislikes burdening other people with her fear. Her feelings for Cross Marian are openly acknowledged, though she understands his wandering lifestyle and does not expect an ordinary relationship.

Anita also becomes protective of Lenalee Lee, offering the younger woman reassurance during their voyage.

Anita is not an Exorcist and possesses no Innocence. She can nevertheless use talismans and magical techniques associated with supporters of the Black Order.

Her ship and crew provide transportation and logistical support to the Exorcists travelling toward Japan. In the anime, she additionally makes use of barrier techniques associated with Finders.

Miranda Lotto uses Time Record to keep Anita and her crew functioning after they are wounded. The effect can only postpone their injuries, not erase them permanently.

Chaoji Han is one of Anita's crewmen and accompanies her on the voyage. He is among the small number who survive the destruction of the ship.
