Synopsis
Yu Yu Hakusho: The Movie - Poltergeist Report begins when a supernatural flood overwhelms the Spirit World. After the injured Botan reaches the Human World with a mysterious object, Yusuke Urameshi learns that forces from the long-banished Netherworld are attempting to reestablish their realm at the expense of the existing worlds.
Guided by the Spirit World messenger Hinageshi, Yusuke joins Kazuma Kuwabara, Kurama and Hiei in a race to protect several locations containing concentrated spiritual energy. The feature is an anime-original adventure set broadly within the television continuity, expanding the franchise’s cosmology with a fourth realm and offering a darker, feature-length conflict built around the entire principal fighting team.
