Synopsis
With Qin’s domestic power struggle settled, Ying Zheng begins transforming his ambition to unify China into a sustained campaign of conquest. The state’s first major obstacle is Zhao, whose defenses are directed by the brilliant Li Mu. When Qin’s initial strategy becomes impractical, its military leadership adopts a dangerous plan centered on the fortified city of Ye.
The season opens with material bridging the previous campaigns before adapting the first phase of the Western Zhao Invasion arc. Xin, Wang Ben, and Meng Tian march alongside armies commanded by Wang Jian, Huan Yi, and Yang Duanhe. The campaign expands into several interconnected fronts involving Retsubi, Ye, the Quanrong, and Zhao’s central army, making the season the beginning of one of Qin’s largest invasions.
