Synopsis
Following the Farewell Shinsengumi Arc, Gintoki Sakata, Kagura, and Shinpachi Shimura travel to the devastated planet Rakuyou in search of Takasugi Shinsuke. Their mission draws them into a conflict involving the Kiheitai, Harusame pirates, and Kagura’s estranged brother, Kamui.
This 12-episode series, officially titled Gintama., adapts the Rakuyou Decisive Battle Arc. It deepens the histories of the Yato family and Gintoki’s former comrades while moving the anime decisively toward its concluding storyline.
