Srajo

Srajo is cautious, pragmatic and authoritative. She does not immediately trust unfamiliar travelers in the deep Abyss and prefers to test their capabilities and motives before sharing sensitive information.

With Hail Hex, she displays the easy authority of a long-established captain. Her subordinates follow her commands closely, but their interactions are not purely formal; Srajo understands their personalities and physical needs in considerable detail.

She can be surprisingly conversational once trust is established. Srajo readily discusses difficult theories about the Abyss while admitting when her knowledge remains incomplete.

As a White Whistle, Srajo ranks among the greatest delvers known to Orth. She possesses extensive experience with the deeper layers, obscure Abyssal phenomena and combat.

Her personal weaponry includes the Popple Gun, which she can use to reveal or strike targets under difficult environmental conditions. She also carries the whistles of numerous delvers who previously challenged her.

Her White Whistle can activate certain members of Hail Hex. Blowing it causes dramatic transformations and power increases in Juusou such as Nishagora and Yataramar, demonstrating a relationship between Life-reverberating Stones and their bodies similar in some respects to Riko's activation of Reg.

Srajo is mentioned long before she appears directly, alongside Wakuna as one of the White Whistles whose whereabouts are uncertain. Bondrewd reports that she descended into the Sixth Layer without ordinary notice.

Her descent is connected to pursuit of the mysterious Priestess and missing material from the Song of Hariyomari. Hail Hex eventually encounters Riko's party while investigating whether other delvers might be agents or bait associated with that figure.

After testing Riko's group through a battle with Nishagora, Srajo agrees to exchange information. The two parties subsequently begin a joint expedition toward the Seventh Layer, where Srajo provides some of the story's most detailed current theories about souls, Juusou and the Abyss's deeper mechanisms.

Nishagora is Srajo's bodyguard and "Raider." Srajo can activate her enhanced state using her White Whistle.

Sherumi and Menae serve Srajo as Hail Hex's twin Snipers.

Yataramar is Hail Hex's principal Combatant and another subordinate whose body responds to Srajo's White Whistle.

Tepasté is held as Hail Hex's prisoner after becoming entangled in the group's pursuit of the Priestess, though she later cooperates extensively with them.

Riko is recognized by Srajo as a fellow White Whistle. After testing her group, Srajo agrees to cooperate and travel with them.

Bondrewd previously obstructs Hail Hex's Last Dive because of the unusual nature and value of Srajo's companions.

The Priestess is the mysterious figure Srajo pursues in connection with the Song of Hariyomari.
