Nashi Kurokami

Nashi is comparatively relaxed about the unconventional structure of the Kurokami family. When Medaka declares that she intends to take control of the Kurokami Group, Nashi reacts with amusement rather than hostility.

Her limited appearances present her as an adult already accustomed to the family's unusual traditions. She does not receive enough independent material to support a more elaborate psychological profile.

No specific Abnormality, Minus or Style is established for Nashi in her limited appearances.

Her background as a representative selected by a Kurokami branch family places her within an influential family network, but the manga does not give her a major combat showcase.

Nashi is introduced while the manga explains the previous generation's Jet Black Wedding Feast and the structure of the Kurokami family. She was originally Nashi Momozono, one of seven representatives chosen as potential wives for Kajiki; rather than selecting only one, Kajiki married all seven.

Nashi is the biological mother of Kujira Kurokami, while Medaka and Maguro are her stepchildren through Kajiki's other marriages.

She later participates in Medaka's 100 Flowers Run. Nashi represents the late Hato Tsurubami and carries Hato's flower and message for Medaka, allowing Hato's words to reach her daughter through another of Kajiki's wives.

Kajiki Kurokami is Nashi's husband. Nashi originally entered the Jet Black Wedding Feast as one of seven candidates to marry Kajiki, who ultimately married all seven women.

Kujira Kurokami is Nashi's biological daughter with Kajiki.

Medaka Kurokami is Nashi's stepdaughter through Kajiki's marriage to Hato Tsurubami.

Maguro Kurokami is Nashi's stepson through another of Kajiki's marriages.

Momo Momozono is Nashi's niece through the Momozono family.

Hato Tsurubami is one of Nashi's fellow wives. During the 100 Flowers Run, Nashi stands in for Hato and passes her message to Medaka.
