Mai Gotou

Mai shares the Prince Yuki Fan Club's intense admiration for Yuki and its suspicion of girls perceived as romantic competition. She participates in group activities rather than receiving a substantial independent characterization.

Compared with Motoko and Minami, Mai is not established as one of the club's principal organizers. Her characterization is therefore best understood through the group's collective behavior rather than through a separate personal arc.

Motoko Minagawa, Minami Kinoshita and Mio Yamagishi are Mai's fellow club members in the 2001 anime.

Tooru Honda is treated by Mai and the club as a threat because of her closeness to Yuki.

Saki Hanajima becomes a target of the club's investigation because she protects Tooru, but the girls are intimidated by her instead.
